Of the 34 students majoring in education at UCF, 26% are male and 74% are female.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at Virginia Commonwealth University helped the school earn the #5 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular general education schools in the Southeast Region . University of Virginia - Main Campus did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for general education students to get a doctor’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in the small suburb of Charlottesville, University of Virginia is a public school with a very large student population.
Women make up 81% of the education majors at the school.

With a ranking of #8, University of Southern Mississippi did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for general education students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the small city of Hattiesburg, Southern Miss is a public school with a large student population.
