The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at Stanford University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular computer science schools in the Far Western US Region . Located in the large suburb of Stanford, Stanford is a private not-for-profit school with a large student population.

Of the 36 students majoring in compsci at Stanford, 81% are male and 19% are female.
