The colleges and universities below are the most popular for accounting majors pursuing a master's degree.

Our 2023 rankings named Southern New Hampshire University the most popular school in the New England Region for accounting students working on their master’s degree. Located in the suburb of Manchester, SNHU is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 348 students majoring in accounting at SNHU, 37% are male and 63% are female.

Out of the 49 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Massachusetts Amherst landed the # 2 spot on the list. UMass Amherst is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Amherst.

About 51% of the students majoring in accounting at the school are women while 49% are male.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Central Connecticut State University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular accounting schools in the New England Region . CCSU is a moderately-sized public school located in the suburb of New Britain.

Of the 127 students majoring in accounting at CCSU, 51% are male and 49% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at University of Connecticut helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular accounting schools in the New England Region . UCONN is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Storrs.
