Our 2023 rankings named Vanderbilt University the best school in the Southeast Region for genetics students. Located in the city of Nashville, Vanderbilt is a private not-for-profit school with a large student population.

The school came in at #2 on this year’s Best Genetics Schools in the Southeast Region list. University of Georgia came in at #9 in this year’s edition of the Best Genetics Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. UGA is a fairly large public school located in the city of Athens.
University of Florida landed the #10 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best genetics programs. Located in the medium-sized city of Gainesville, UF is a public school with a very large student population.
