About 67% of the students majoring in agriculture at the school are women while 33% are male.

Out of the 10 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Sam Houston State University landed the # 2 spot on the list. SHSU is a very large public school located in the distant town of Huntsville.
